Specialized methodologies

Over the years, EYEAWAN has built up broad but specialized experience in the region and in Nigeria. We have developed means of effective and efficient information gathering, meaning that our deliverables are of high quality, within time and budget. Having dealt with many various project site environments, EYEAWAN is equipped to perform on high quality both on- and offshore. Our plant is modified to work in remote locations. Take for instance our Jack-Up-Barge. It can be

completely dismantled and thus transported by truck over road. Should roads be absent, our Multicat can transport the same over water. Our CPT rig is mounted on a 4x4 Bedford truck, making it suitable for difficult accessible terrain. Our drill rigs have tracks and can be transported on trucks. We tackle every site specific job by thinking along with you as a Client and making suggestions for improvement. It is our flexibility that makes the job done, no matter how difficult it may seem at first.

Services

Drilling and sampling

EYEAWAN operates a specialized rotary core drill rigs for SPT and sampling (both undisturbed or disturbed). The rigs can do percussion and rotary drilling, adjustable to any ground condition, and are mounted on trucks.

Marine surveys

Ranging from Bathymetric surveys (single beam or multi beam) to Side Scan Sonar and from Sub Bottom Profiling to Magnetometer, we map the bottom and subbottom for any application required.

Cone Penetration Testing

Mounted on a Bedford 4x4 truck, our 200kN hydraulic CPT(u) rig can operate on difficult terrain. It can be equiped for special seismic testing too.

Topographic surveys

We can capture any terrain into terrain models and XYZ data using land based or airborne equipment (drones).

Seabed testing

Should soil data be required out at sea or on a river, we provide subbottom testing or sampling using various seabed deployed techniques with a Multicat. Drilling in hard soils and rock can be done from our Jack-Up-Barge.

One-stop-shop

We often provide very broad support to our clients. This ranges from feasibility studies to detailing specific geotechnical or geophysical campaigns. We do designs from a no-nonsense contractor point of view, providing you with technically feasible and economic attractive turn-key solutions.
